Biography
Professor Yavor Shopov is head of University Centre for Space Research and Technologies http://ucsrt.phys.uni-sofia.bg/en/home.html of Sofia University, Bulgaria. He is PhD in astrophysics and stellar physics. His main fields of research are related to applications of satellites in applied and fundamental research, space and solar terrestrial physics, design and development of optical and spectral equipment for photographic registration in different regions of the spectrum. Dr. Shopov is supervisor of the Master programme on Aerospace engineering (small satellites) and co-supervisor of the Master programme on Space research of Sofia University.
Research Interest
