Alexander G. Yushchenko is a multi-science investigator at National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Instituteâ€, Ukraine. His research interests cover electrodynamics of new types of dielectric waveguide structures, expert systems, evolutionary modeling, theory of creative processes, neural networks, etc. 1981 ¬– Graduated from Kharkov State University, qualification researcher in radio-physics. 1981-1991 – research engineer, researcher, senior researcher, leading researcher, chief constructor, head of research group in micro- and millimeter waves component designing at Microwave Devices Laboratory of Kharkov State University and leading Soviet Union defense enterprises - JSC V.Tikhomirov Scientific Research Institute of Instrument Design (JSC V.Tikhomirov NIIP, Zhukovsky):, Moscow Region , “Leninetsâ€, Leningrad , “KNII REA†, Kyiv. 1992-2001 – research manager of contests research projects of Ukrainian Ministry of Higher education, State Committee of Science and Techniques, Ukrainian Ministry of Science, Institute for Radiophysics and Electronics of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, concerning development of radio telecommunication device components. 1999-2000 – scientific consultant of Kharkiv Dolphinarium Monitoring. 1998-1999 – senior doctorate fellowship, National Technical University “Kyiv Polytechnic Instituteâ€, 1999-2005 – Associate Professor, National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Instituteâ€, Information Systems Department, International Project Leader, 2005-present – Full Professor, International Reviewer. For a long time he worked in Microwave Devices Laboratory of a Karazin State University, Kharkiv, Ukraine, where he made a career from an engineer to a chief designer of filter development for defense industry of the former USSR (S-300 and Buk-M2 missiles, etc.). He led the competitive research of the Ministry of Science and Education of Ukraine that was devoted to the development of satellite and cable communications and television in Ukraine. Prof. Yushchenko is NATO Manfred Worner Fellow in artificial intelligence and information technologies. He has published about 150 scientific papers, has 12 patents of the USSR, Russia and Ukraine.
